Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies Takes directions well Reasonable knowledge of concrete materials, workability, finishing, finishing equipment and curing Reasonable knowledge of concrete paving formwork and doweling systems and assembly Influences and enforces company values. Recognizes misalignments with company values and culture and rectifies Performs all other duties of crew members as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills Problem solving Ability to travel as required for projects Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
2 years of relevant experience and/or training Experience operating heavy equipment used in highway construction OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
Physical Demands
Regularly required to Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl Use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms Talk and hear Occasionally required to Sit Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Vision abilities include Close Distance Color Peripheral Depth perception Ability to adjust focus
