This is a Monday to Friday position working a 40 hours per week, In return you will receive:

Salary: Competitive, up to GBP30,000 per annum

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our client's growing team in Sedgefield. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to take ownership of the site's maintenance, ensuring a safe, efficient, and first-class environment for everyone. If you have a background in facilities maintenance and a passion for keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you.

(Desired, Not Essential):

An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery or a related trade qualification would be highly regarded.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks across the site, ensuring equipment and facilities are kept in good working order.
* Carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs as needed - including minor plumbing, joinery, painting, and general fabric work.
* Supporting the upkeep of interior and exterior building areas, including inspections and reporting of any issues.
* Assisting with contractor supervision and ensuring compliance with site policies and procedures.
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing work logs and job sheets.
* Responding promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company standards.
