Position Summary: 
 
 

This position is responsible for the supervision and daily operations of one or more areas of a manufacturing facility such as machining, assembly, finishing, cycle counting, shipping/receiving, warehouse, and other related manufacturing areas.  
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

-Responsible for the supervision of department employees including the overall direction, mentoring, and training. 
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Accountable for the supervision of department employees, including the overall direction, discipline, mentoring, and training. Accomplish objectives by communicating job expectations to employees, including planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Reviews specifications and procedures to organize methods and equipment to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of quality products.  
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Studies production schedules and estimates employees’ work hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Ensures accurate and timely transactions are maintained in the ERP system.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Makes recommendations to management on personnel, equipment, procedures, and methods to improve & meet production goals.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Analyzes and resolves problems and or assists in solving work problems.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Develops and motivates employees to achieve work and career goals.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Coordinates movement of material within the shop to ensure safe, efficient operation.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Confers with other production supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Other essential duties may be assigned as required.

-This position is also responsible for, the authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.
 

Qualifications / Requirements:
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Associate or technical degree in business or related field; three to five years successful experience; 3 years minimum experience in a supervisory / manager capacity; or equivalent successful combination of education and experience. 
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.
 

style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Proficiency using the Company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, communication systems, computer systems, software systems, operating systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and other related programs.
