CommScope is recruiting for an Export Compliance Analyst III– North America to support key export trade initiatives to ensure compliance with trade regulations and all applicable laws relating to export activities. Preference for candidates based in Texas or Norh Carolina.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As an Export Compliance Analyst for North America, you will support operational and transactional export activities, ensuring adherence to U.S. and international trade regulations. You will collaborate with the trade compliance team to enhance classification accuracy, streamline export processes, and maintain regulatory compliance across encryption controls, licensing, sanctions, and recordkeeping.

Export activities include export controls, export licensing, licensing exceptions, due diligence, re-exports, sanctions, free trade agreements, recordkeeping, and anti-boycott requirements.

You Will Make an Impact By:

-Classifying goods for export by analyzing parts, products, and components for proper export classification under applicable regulations, including conducting appropriate analysis under the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
-Apply expert knowledge of License Exception ENC to ensure compliant global distribution of encryption-related commodities, software, and technology.
-Conducting ECCN Reviews and CCATS requests via SNAP-R to meet reporting, and documentation requirements in alignment with BIS requirements.
-Conducting operational tasks, including order releases, end user certification confirmation, and deemed-export analysis.
-Maintaining export classification details and support within SAP/GTS.
-Research and classify software, hardware, or third-party products needed to prepare government submission of classification requests, applications for export licenses for controlled products and technologies and meet record keeping requirements.
-Issue and file certificates of origin, including USMCA and other global trade agreements.
-Manage and drive to completion global trade projects, including ERP system implementations to support export compliance.
 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

-Bachelor’s degree in international business, logistics, trade compliance, or a related technical field.
type="disc"-
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in export compliance, trade compliance,  with experience on export classification, licensing and encryption.
-Strong understanding of U.S. trade regulations, including EAR and License Exception ENC.

-Familiarity with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services)
-Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
