Senior R&D Expert – SPAD Pixel Technology

We are looking for a Senior R&D Expert in Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) pixel technology to lead innovation and development efforts that will shape the future of our imaging sensor products. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of semiconductor imaging technologies and make a measurable impact on our technical competitiveness and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
-Take full ownership of the technical roadmap for SPAD pixel development, including requirement gathering, specification definition, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
-Drive key technology research in SPAD pixel architectures, generating industry-leading patents and technical innovations that reinforce our leadership in the field.
-Ensure our SPAD imaging products consistently maintain top-tier competitiveness by contributing to both technology and business strategy.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product commercialization and ensure alignment between R&D outcomes and market needs.Qualifications & Requirements:
-Solid foundation in semiconductor chip design, principles, and process flows.
-Proven hands-on development experience with SPAD image sensors.
-Expertise in TCAD simulation tools (e.g., Sentaurus) to support advanced simulation and tape-out processes.
-Recognised industry presence in SPAD pixel technology, with clear insight into emerging trends and competitive landscapes.
-Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Microelectronics, Optoelectronic Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
-10+ years of experience in the development of SPAD, TOF (Time-of-Flight), or CIS (CMOS Image Sensors) technologies.
