We are seeking a full time, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work at one of our special educational needs schools in Greenwich. The role involves working closely with children aged 11-18 with PMLD, SLD and Autism. The school would require someone who is passionate with a clear understanding of dealing with complex and varied special needs.

The Successful Applicant:
* Has previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults
* Available to work 8:30am until 3:30pm from Monday to Friday
* Someone who can use an arrangement of strategies for making environment and surroundings more friendly for SEN children
* Adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles
The job:
* Working 1:1 or with small groups of students
* Able to promote children's positive behaviour and supporting their development
* Working with PECS and Makaton with nonverbal students
* Providing help to pupils with personal hygiene care
* Working to support the class teacher and working together with your dedicated classroom team
* Maintaining high standard of safeguarding of pupils
