Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Kent
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary & Package: Very Competitive
Your day to day will look like:
* Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
* Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
* Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
* Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome
Requirements:
* HNC / HND in Surveying or equivalent
* Proven experience as the SQS with a Regional / National contractor
* A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
* A good knowledge of construction methods and materials
* Strong mathematical and IT ability
* Negotiating and networking skills
* Excellent communications skills
* Good team working skills
