Job Responsibilities:
-Oversee the operation and maintenance of Sembawang Cable Depot’s storage facilities for submarine cable spares.
-Maintain accurate records of all stored cables, spare parts, and equipment, tracking their movements and allocation.
-Assign and manage maintenance tasks for depot staff.
-Arrange labor for cable transfers and internal operations.
-Coordinate with cable system owners, suppliers, and shipping agents for incoming spares and equipment, ensuring proper documentation.
-Continuously improve depot operations and processes.
-Prepare and submit reports on cable spare movements and monthly status updates.
-Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field.
-At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a relevant industry.
-Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel machinery.
-Proficiency in MS Office.
-Strong teamwork, communication, and service-oriented mindset.
-Comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work.
-Knowledge of submarine fiber optics is a plus.
