Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in assessing and evaluating current virtual computing infrastructure and provide recommendations for enhancements.
-Assist in drafting documentation, performing root cause analysis, and recommending possible solutions.
-Participate in requirements gathering and drafting runbook/ work instructions for routine tasks.
-Assist in internal and external security audits, vulnerability assessments and tracking vulnerabilities until closure.
-Adhere to existing governance policies and processes to ensure non-compliance incidents are minimized.
-Assist in reviewing recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
-Recommend implementation of automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
-Review infrastructure patch updates, ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches.
-Assist in reviewing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.
-Manage and track outstanding issues for resolution and closure with relevant stakeholders.
-Manage records retention, document filing and housekeeping for the Systems Process.
-Any other tasks assigned by the dept.
Requirements
-Minimum Diploma holder, preferably in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
-Preferably with some working experience and knowledge in Windows and Linux operating systems.
-Familiarity with government security requirements will be an advantage.
-Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs.
-Proficient in MS Office.
-Possess a positive and agile working attitude.
-Meticulous in tracking, tactful and willing to learn.
-Multi-tasking, able to work under pressure.
-Team player with good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
