What do we need:
We seek a Research & Development (R&D) Technician II with Microbiology expertise to join our Biology and Skin Science team within the Amway R & D Division. This team provides a broad range of microbiology testing supporting all business lines in our product portfolios.
What’s special about this role:
This team of 4 within the broader Skin Science and Biology teams, support Microbiology activites in support of new product development. Their testing ensures safety and product stability for home care, personal care, skin care, and nutrition business lines. You will work collaboratively within the R & D science community, partnering with experts in agricultural sciences, product design & formulation, clinical & consumer testing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Your work will ensure we maintain our reputation for high quality products that consumers want to buy, and our Amway Business Owners want to sell. Required qualifications:

-Associates or BS degree in Microbiology, Biology, Life sciences or a related field
-Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs/test methods and reporting data
-Experience in GMP microbiology testing (hands on laboratory experience)
-Background with LIMS system (Starlims preferred)

-Understanding and Experience in Preservative Efficacy Testing
