Looking for Multi Trade Carpenters who enjoy delivering a valued service to our customers. You'll be part of an established and friendly direct trades team working within residential properties throughout the area.
Responsibilities of a Multiskilled Tradesperson
* Complete a variety of carpentry, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks.
* Ensure all work meets professional standards and follows safety regulations.
* Communicate with customers and colleagues about job progress.
* Provide excellent customer service while representing company values.
* Follow all health and safety policies and use appropriate equipment.
* Complete jobs efficiently and on time.
* Manage job costs and use a "Schedule of Rates" for pricing.
* Be available for out-of-hours emergency calls.
* Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
* Use a smartphone or tablet to track jobs, hours, and materials.
* Procure materials from approved suppliers and manage van stock.
* Keep your work vehicle clean, in good condition, and report any issues.
* Assist other tradespeople as needed.
* Adapt to different tasks and undergo training to improve skills.
* Properly use and maintain all tools and equipment.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in a variety of trades, including carpentry and plumbing.
* Proven experience in carpentry and plumbing work.
* NVQ Level 2 certification or equivalent experience in a core trade.
* Experience working in a team environment to meet deadlines.
* A valid, clean driver's license.
* Ability to perform physically demanding work.
* A commitment to the company's values and behaviors.
