The Command & Control team is responsible for designing, building, and testing the software, hardware and networking systems used to launch the NASA's Artemis rocket. Amentum provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing and Artemis launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks will support the Exploration Ground Systems, Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and Launch Services programs.
Job Description
As a modeling and simulation IT professional, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining flight emulation systems in the CAIDA (Customer Avionics Interfaces, Development & Analysis) Lab. This position supports the development, verification, and validation environments of the Launch Control System (LCS), as well as formal simulations and Launch Team Training events in the Operational Firing Rooms for the Artemis Program.
Responsibilities
Perform asset configuration and operational support for Emulator and Telemetry systems.
Install software, configure software settings, and apply network patches.
Assist end users in real-time troubleshooting, resolving anomalies, and system recovery.
Coordinate issue resolution with the development and engineering teams.
Develop and adhere to operational procedures.

Required:
. Bachelor's degree in related field with at least four years of IT experience OR at least six years of IT experience in field of Specialization.
. Experience with Linux command line
. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
. Ability to analyze information, problem solve and troubleshoot complex systems.
. Ability to follow operational procedures.
. Willingness to work off-shift and weekends when required.
