Conduct bi-annual maintenance on aerobic systems, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs to ensure optimal performance. . Diagnose and fix aerobic and conventional septic systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues and replacing parts as needed. . Keep company vehicle tools and supplies in top condition, ensuring readiness for all jobs. . Drive to residential and commercial sites using the provided company vehicle. . Access wastewater tanks, which may involve hand digging or operating specialized equipment. . Log detailed, accurate notes on work orders to document services and issues. Job Qualifications To be a successful Service Technician, you should have: . High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or septic system certification is a bonus. . Physically capable of demanding tasks like lifting heavy equipment, digging, and working outdoors. . Able to use and read a voltmeter for electrical diagnostics. . Confident communicator, able to explain technical details to homeowners clearly. . Available for occasional evening/weekend work and on-call shifts. . Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and provide a current driving record (MVR). Working Conditions . Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime (nights/weekends) and on-call shifts as needed. . Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather (rain, heat, humidity), and loud noise levels. . Punctuality and regular attendance are critical for customer satisfaction.
