The Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing the potential of the sales team and establishing sales plans. The Sales Manager leads the Global Sensor sales organization to reach and exceed key organizational goals.  This job holder inspires confidence in customers in the organization’s core value proposition and confidence in the global sales team in the organization’s capabilities and future.  The Sales Manager has deep and credible insights into customer needs and market trends and is highly effective in identifying attractive business opportunities.  This position develops deep and strategic relationships with high level decision makers and customers and negotiates outcomes with customers that enable the achievement of organizational results. The responsibilities of the director of sales can include: 

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

-Establishing and growing Global Sensor Sales
-Manage and Lead Future Sensor Sales Team: Account Managers, Customer Support Representatives.
-Identify New Customer, Support customer projects from conception to series production

and generate ongoing sales

-Conducting price and contract negotiations with new and existing customers
-Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
-Leading and motivating sales team to exceed sales targets and maximize revenue
-Building strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service
-Analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree, in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related technical field.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have substantial experience (more than 20 years) in sales, including a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Must have experience in leading sales teams, developing sales strategies, and managing client relationships. On-the-job training in advanced sales techniques, leadership skills, and strategic planning is essential. Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
