About the Role
We're seeking a highly experienced Sr. Loan Partner/Mortgage Operations Manager to join our growing mortgage team. This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role that combines loan processing expertise with operational management responsibilities. It requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure loans are processed efficiently, clients are delighted, and business growth is achieved in a fast-paced, in-person environment.
Compensation:
$125,000 yearly
Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact during the "contact to contract" phase of the loan process and liaison between clients, referral partners, and the loan officer and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items Facilitate the completion of loan applications, coordinate the collection of documentation, including credit reports, run DU/LP/AUS, send a closing cost worksheet to borrow, and prepare the file for processing Answer questions from customers or employees regarding transactions and give quotes when required to deliver excellent customer service Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and borrowers to retain existing clients and attract new business Partner closely with the Owner to structure deals, run numbers, and ensure clients are set up for success Manage and oversee the full loan pipeline from intake through funding Qualifications: 5+ years experience in mortgage loan processing / operations Strong knowledge of underwriting for conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo and non-QM loan products The ability to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as an understanding of general ways to structure a loan NMLS license preferred (or willingness to obtain) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously Strong communication and client service skills Experience with LOS systems (Arive, Encompass, Calyx, etc.) a plus Leadership experience is highly desirable
