Position Description
* Develop and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to diverse learning needs of SEN students.
* Implement and adapt literacy frameworks to maximise student progress.
* Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused learning environment.
* Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Minimum 6 month's experience teaching students with SEN (Experience with Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD highly desirable).
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Commitment to professional development and a passion for supporting students with SEN.
