Learning Support Assistant - SEN Support - Year 2 - Tottenham Primary School
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant ready to take on a long-term role in a Year 2 class? A vibrant primary school in Tottenham is seeking an Learning Support Assistant who is competent, confident, and reliable, as the Headteacher needs a professional who can handle both classroom support and direct intervention.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide tailored support to children with SEN, including autism, non-verbal communication, and behavioural needs. Duties will involve supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and occasionally on a 2:1 basis, ensuring every child is fully supported in both their learning and social development.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with SEN across Year 2 with 1:1 and 2:1 duties

Encourage engagement in lessons and manage behaviour positively
*
Provide academic support in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects
*
Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
*
Work in partnership with teaching staff and the SENCO
