Responsibilities include:
* Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure continuous production and equipment reliability.
* Support and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering a proactive maintenance culture.
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of food production machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
* Conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex equipment issues swiftly and effectively.
* Plan and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
* Support installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring smooth integration.
* Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Collaborate with production teams to optimize operational efficiency and equipment performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in engineering maintenance within a food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring maintenance teams.
* NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Solid understanding of root cause analysis and fault-finding on production equipment.
* Apprentice trained or equivalent with demonstrable hands-on experience.
