A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a UK known construction manufacturer in the Medway Area!
With no day ever being the same the Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer role offers a 9-day working fortnight, enhanced parental leave and the opportunity to feel valued in a first-class organisation with genuine long-term progression and career development.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Improvisation and maintenance of all facilities across site.
* PPM and reactive maintenance across the site of all machinery and facilities.
* Developing and implementing Health and Safety procedures and achieving safety records.
* Increasing efficiency and decreasing downtime of all machinery across site.
* Ensuring all equipment meets its performance, availability and quality KPI's.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* NVQ level 3 in an engineering field.
* 2 + years in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong continuous improvement knowledge.
* Experience completing electrical and mechanical maintenance work on a number of different machinery including Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors, Pumps and PLC fault finding.
* Knowledge and experience of Health and Safey and Quality standards across a manufacturing site.
