DEA Technical Consultant

Location: East Midlands (Hybrid - minimum 3 days in office post-probation)

Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP26,000 (DOE)

A leading UK energy accreditation and training provider is seeking a DEA Technical Consultant to join its growing technical support team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical consultancy, training delivery, and customer support within a dynamic, supportive environment. You'll play a key role in supporting Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs), ensuring high-quality guidance and professional development for both new and existing members.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver Introductory Level 3 DEA training to new delegates
* Support continued professional development courses for new and existing DEAs
* Provide technical guidance and support via email, phone, and in person
* Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and learning materials
* Contribute to excellent customer service across all touchpoints
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share expertise and maintain accuracy

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Essential:

* Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (Level 3) with several years' experience
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform calculations
* Excellent customer service skills in a busy environment
* Clear and confident communication skills for face-to-face, verbal, and written interactions
* Ability to maintain effective working relationships in a team
* Comfortable using IT as an integral part of daily work

Preferred:

* Experience in the built environment industry and an interest in energy assessment as a career
* Background in telephone or customer support
* Interest in renewable energy and sustainable building practices
