Job Summary/Purpose

The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in driving the successful execution of Power Delivery’s work innovation and transformation initiatives. This position will be accountable for managing a portfolio of strategic projects and programs, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable results. The Senior Project Manager will leverage strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills to drive accountability, navigate dependencies, and optimize the overall Power Delivery transformation effort.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of strategic Power Delivery work innovation and transformation projects and programs, ensuring alignment of objectives, resource allocation, and interdependencies. Provide regular progress reporting and recommend adjustments to the project roadmap as needed.

-Facilitate effective collaboration across Power Delivery, as well as other Entergy business units like Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and HR. Serve as a central point of coordination to align priorities, remove roadblocks, and drive integrated solutions.
-Ensure clear goals, milestones, and performance metrics are set for each Power Delivery work innovation initiative are set. Hold project teams accountable to these targets, proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Ensure timely and quality delivery of transformation outcomes.
-Provide coaching and guidance to project managers and functional leaders within the Power Delivery organization. Share best practices, facilitate knowledge transfer, and help develop the capabilities needed to sustain the work innovation transformation.
-Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to the Vice President of Work Innovation, as well as other key Power Delivery and executive stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and secure the necessary support and resources to drive the transformation forward.
-Identify and proactively address interdependencies between Power Delivery work innovation initiatives and other enterprise-wide programs. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration and minimize disruptions to ongoing Power Delivery operations.

Minimum Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.

Minimum experience required

-3-5 years experience in Operations Management or Project Management

 
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities

-Strong interpersonal, leadership and analytical skills. Experienced in project management roles. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. In depth understanding of utility regulation and RFPs.
