Your new role
As the Legal, Compliance and Quality Director, you will:
-Provide expert legal advice and strategic counsel across the full value chain to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Review and approve a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other critical documentation, to safeguard the organisation’s interests.
-Represent the organisation in complex legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities.
-Lead and manage the legal and compliance department, fostering collaboration and professional development within the team.
-Develop and implement effective legal and compliance strategies aligned with business objectives.
-Assess legal and compliance risks and design strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
-Ensure the organisation operates ethically and in compliance with all regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Your new department
As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. You will be part of the Legal and Compliance department in our CLAT affiliate, a multi-country affiliate. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, dedicated to ensuring Novo Nordisk operates ethically and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
-Bachelor´s degree in Law or a related field; relevant master's or postgraduate degree or certification in compliance or business law is a plus.
-A minimum of 10 years in Legal and Compliance roles, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully managing these departments´matters in complex business environments. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
-At least 3 years of experience effectively managing teams, as well as availability to travel.
-Previous exposure in Quality management within the pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage.
-Fluent English
