As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
 

Hatch is seeking current students pursuing a degree in Human Resources for an internship opportunity for Summer 2026.  Reporting to the Director of HR, you may support offices globally as well as regionally working from our Pittsburgh office location.

Responsibilities:

-Support with various HR generalist activities including new hire file creation, new hire onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, HR program and process review
-Support with various recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks and other recruitment duties as required
-Participate in the creation of reports and maintain databases 
-Assist with day-to-day employee requests
-Maintain data in HR Information System
-Other duties as assigned
 

Education and Experience:

-A local, current 2nd year or higher student of a degree program in Human Resources, or similar relevant program able to work 40 hours / 5 days a week for the duration of the internship
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
-Strong presentation and public speaking skills an asset
-Strong MS Office skills with advanced skill in MS Excel
-Familiarity with SuccessFactors and/or SAP an asset
-*Previous HR related internships a plus

-Perform assignments related to your sector
-Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
-Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
-Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
-Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
