Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for providing leadership to ensure manufacturing is executed as required, within all safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Job Responsibilities

-Direct all plant manufacturing processes and ensure quality products while maintaining a safe work environment
-Plan and direct the layout of equipment, workflow and workforce utilization as well as participating in the procurement of raw materials, supplies and other production needs
-Planning and establishing work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals
-Responsible for inventory management labor, production efficiency and cost controls
-Provide leadership to staff, assessing performance in accordance with employment law compliance
-Scheduling and directing all operational activities to ensure product quality and consistency
-Monitor key metrics, safety, production flow and material costs
-Implement process improvement methods and ensure non-stop operations and ongoing production in an effective, safe and profitable manner
-Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements

-Ability to torch and weld ferrous metals
-Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge and able to troubleshoot
-Ability to read blueprints and use electrical testing equipment
-Ability to use handheld pneumatic chipping hammer
-2+ years’ experience with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
