What You’ll Do
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Safely operate tack trucks and heavy equipment in road, site, and highway construction and paving projects.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain required documentation, and ensure vehicles meet DOT and company standards.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Follow dispatch instructions, company policies, and all applicable laws and safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Load and unload materials—occasionally manually as required.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Monitor vehicle performance, maintain mileage logs, and keep all equipment clean and in excellent working condition.

-Work collaboratively in a team environment, maintaining constant communication and supporting co-workers.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Take pride in delivering quality work and maintaining a safe site for everyone.

-Performing general labor duties and other tasks as assigned—every day brings something new.
What We’re Looking For
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-A minimum age of 18 due to workplace safety requirements.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Valid driver’s license that meets state requirements (CDL Class A with hazmat, airbrakes, and tanker endorsements required).
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Clean driving record (MVR) in line with company standards.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical exam.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Willingness to travel, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and take on night or weekend shifts when needed.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Documentation to meet I-9 requirements.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Professional, courteous attitude and commitment to teamwork and safety.
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-High school diploma or GED preferred, prior construction experience a plus.
