JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of a Records Clerk
Reporting to the First Line Manager (FLM), this position is responsible for performing the full range of document management activities associated with records life cycle phases. Assist in the implementation of document management databases and SharePoint web pages.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Perform a full range of records activities in various phases of document life cycle management. Maintain follow-up controls for record management as per established records procedures and records retention schedule.
-Perform detailed information and literature searches and retrievals, compile bibliographies and carry out research. Order publications and process loan requests and process payments for same if necessary. Maintain a network of external suppliers for publications and documents.
-Assist in the testing and implementation of document management databases, web pages, applications and all related tools and systems. Prepare and review procedures, cataloguing and classifying manuals.
-Provide editorial assistance in the preparation of technical publications, reports and manuals.
-Perform quality checks and carry out audits of all records, verifying integrity and security of documents. Maintain Active and Archival Records. And perform a variety of administrative and clerical functions.
-Clerical support to answer queries from employees, supervisors and pensioners, external libraries and the public.
-Operate and be responsible for the routine maintenance of a variety of business office equipment such as personal computers, microfilm processor camera and card duplicating equipment.
-Accountable for the health, safety and wellbeing of self and others, in accordance with technical/operating procedures and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS

-A minimum of a High School Diploma plus additional courses in administration or clerical.

-5 + years of experience in Office Administration or Executive Administration
-This position is subject to computer competency testing

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full-time management roles includes pay-for-performance programs for annual and medium time periods.
