Responsibilities
As a Fire Risk Assessor, your role includes:
* Conducting Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments aligned with PAS 79.
* Inspecting fire doors and compartmentation.
* Drafting clear, actionable reports with recommendations.
* Ensuring compliance with fire safety legislation, such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
* Proposing fees for fire safety services and advising clients on regulations.
Qualifications
Successful candidates for the Fire Risk Assessor position will have:
* 3+ years of experience with fire risk assessments.
* Certification such as NEBOSH Fire, IFSM, or IFE.
* Knowledge of UK fire legislation and excellent communication/report-writing skills.
* Residency near London, Birmingham, or Manchester.
Desirable: Experience with the RiskBase App and High-Risk Buildings (HRBs).
