The Role
We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic Physics Teacher to join a thriving and forward-thinking school in Leeds. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a unique opportunity. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and examination board specifications.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness for one)
Skills Required
* Outstanding subject knowledge in Physics, up to and including A-Level.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning.
* Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
* Creativity in developing engaging and inspiring lesson plans.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physics lessons across all key stages.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Create and maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and departmental resources.
* Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide professional development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
* Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and support to a group of students.
* Uphold the school's values and ethos.
* Engage in extracurricular activities and subject-related clubs.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom.
