Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Widnes, Warrington

About the Role
Our client, a leading aggregates manufacturer, is seeking a talented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to contribute to their team at the Warrington site. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of machinery and be involved in various projects. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the completion of both reactive and planned maintenance, with the autonomy to work on different projects alongside skilled engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
* Conduct fault finding and diagnosis on PLC logic systems.
* Assist with new projects to support the company's growth.
* Carry out basic general maintenance tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about their work and possesses the following:
* 17th or 18th Edition Regulations certification.
* A completed apprenticeship or time-served experience.
* Strong PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of electrical equipment such as 3-phase motors and inverters.
Pay and Working Hours
* This is a full-time, permanent position
* Competitive salary of GBP45,000 - GBP48,500.
* The working hours are a rotating shift pattern of earlies and lates (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm), Monday to Friday.
