Pay rate: $20.00/hr, Day shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment required in this position
-Required Equipment- 8000 lb/15,000 lb/36,000 lb Forklift/Mobile Belt Conveyor/Terminal Tractor.
-Perform Daily inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
-Communicate via 2-way radio with Supervisors, Team Members, Customer’s, and 3rd Party Drivers.
-Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
-Follow written Dual Verification procedures on all material movements.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-High school education or general education (GED)
-Must be 18 years or older
-Have a valid Driver’s License
-5 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required
-Applicant must pass the General SOP testing, Heavy Equipment function test, Team Member demonstration check list, and Fit For Duty Physical.
-Must be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.
Skills and Abilities
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment.
-Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
-Ability to show proficiency operating the following equipment:8000 lb/15,000 lb /36,000 lb Forklift/Mobile Belt Conveyor/Terminal Tractor.
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team and interact appropriately with others.
-Ability to work in all types of weather.
-Ability to work the scheduled shifts required for the position and/ or overtime as needed.
-Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
