Are you a compassionate and experienced Science Teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're working with a specialist residential setting near Peterborough that is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to start from September 1st.
x1F9E0; The Role:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to meet the needs of learners with a range of SEN.
- Create a supportive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work closely with support staff and the wider pastoral team to deliver individualised learning plans.
- Encourage scientific curiosity while promoting emotional and behavioural development.
x2705; What We're Looking For:
- Ideally Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - although unqualified teachers with strong SEN and Science backgrounds will be considered.
- Demonstrable experience teaching students with SEN, SEMH, or complex needs.
- Strong behaviour management and adaptive teaching strategies.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with young people who may have experienced trauma or challenges.
