JustNurses are recruiting for an experienced Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist to support a potential weekend insourcing contract in Manchester. This role will involve working within paediatric theatres, performing a range of ENT and Gastro procedures in elective theatres and day case settings, while also helping to manage and lead the service.
We offer an excellent weekend rate of GBP1600 per day for Consultant Paediatric ENT Surgeons to support an insourcing contract in Manchester.
A Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist provides expert anaesthetic care for children undergoing operations and procedures, overseeing their care during surgery and recovery. Their role extends beyond direct patient care to include pain management, administrative tasks, and the vital non-clinical commitments of training other medical staff, educating trainees, and contributing to the ongoing development and quality improvement of the paediatric anaesthesiology service.
To be considered for this position, you must hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise and have proven experience as a Consultant in Paediatric ENT. You must also be confident in carrying out both ENT and Gastro paediatric procedures and able to work effectively within paediatric theatres. Meeting our framework compliance requirements is essential, including DBS, Occupational Health, professional references, and proof of right to work in the UK.
