An exclusive private members club in Manhattan is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary direction of its Mediterranean kitchen. Working alongside the Executive Head Chef, you will oversee a team dedicated to excellence, using the highest quality seasonal ingredients in a refined, high-end setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, food quality, sanitation, and compliance
* Develop and execute seasonal menus, ensuring consistency and excellence
* Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systems
* Foster collaboration between front and back-of-house teams
* Maintain top-tier standards in safety, hygiene, and food handling
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of leadership in fine dining kitchens
* Culinary degree or equivalent training
* NYC Food Protection Certificate required
* Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills
* Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
