Role: Control Wiring Trainee

In this role, you will learn how to perform Control Wiring, including:
Read, understand an interpret BOM, blueprints, drawings, schematics and specifications . Mechanical assembly of control box. Control box wiring including relays, terminal boards, electronic components, etc. Verification and mounting of control box. Conduit planning and installations. Installation of external wiring from control box terminals to CT's, fans, oil gauge alarms, lights, breakers, relays and to other auxiliary devices. Installation includes externals including surge arrestors, gauges, grounding, etc. Verify operation of all controls using ohmmeter. Perform point-to-point wiring checks, perform function checks.

Requirements:
Basic:
Prior experience control wiring. Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition Able to work over-time as needed. Ability to interpret complicated drawings, schematics, specifications, and use of high school mathematics. Must be able to read, write and comprehend common vocabulary. Must be able to calculate basic math, including fractions, decimals and percentages. Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington MO. Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available for these positions. External candidates must complete: Application, Talent assessment, interview, drug screen and background check. Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical operations.
Compensation details: 22.11-25.28 Hourly Wage
