The Role

This position supports all Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (“WHR”) franchised brands in North America and Canada, must collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Franchise Development, Brand Leaders, Franchise Administration, Brand Operations and Collection Agencies and reports into the Director of Franchise Services.

The position is responsible for (i) assisting in cash collection efforts related to the negotiation and settlement of outstanding accounts balances as a result of the termination of license agreements by our franchisees, (ii) the cash collection efforts related to outstanding accounts balances of prior licensees as a result of a transfer of ownership This will include but not limited to making/fielding cash collection calls; resolving invoice disputes/overcoming objections in the payment and settlement process; supporting the Manager Franchise Services on the relicensing process related to transfers of ownership;  and other miscellaneous/ad hoc projects.
 

What you'll do
-Pursue outstanding accounts balances to assist in achieving WHR free cash flow targets.  Job requirements include but are not limited (i) Being the liaison between WHG and offsite Collections Partners (ii) Managing and collecting on established payment plans (iii) providing superior customer service internally/externally with customers by being responsive and proactive.
-Due diligence & processing of all refunds, credits, development Incentives as well as handling all unclaimed funds accounts
-Managing various departmental reports 
-Identify and implement process improvements on a continuous basis
-Misc. ad hoc projects

Required Qualifications/Experience
-Bachelor’s degree, 1-2 years experience with responsibility that includes financial accountability and superior customer service
-Proficient in Excel 
-Experience with Salesforce a plus
-Hotel experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $66,500-$75,000 annually.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 10% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
