Pay: $19.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
Performs various manual tasks as a general laborer to assist in unloading trucks, railcars and upkeep of rail terminal facility. Fosters teamwork, positive work environment and overall safety of self and others.
-All work must conform to customer expectations and company policy and procedures.
-Ability to take direction and supervision.
-Ability to interpret both verbal and written directions and/or instructions.
-Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance.
-Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
-Read, write, and communicate in English & understand basic math.
-Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment.
-Working knowledge of Watco Safety and Operating principles.
-Work independently or as part of a team and interact appropriately with others.
-Self-motivated with ability to complete projects with minimum direct supervision.
-High level of attention to detail.
-Other duties as assigned.
Machines, Tools, Special Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment Used:
-Front End Loader, Material Handler, Forklift, Street Sweeper and Skid Steer – Broom and Shovels
-PPE; hard hat, vest(work clothes), safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots, ear plugs, PFD, and respirators
Requirements:
-High school education or general education diploma (GED).
-Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
-Ability to pass training and required testing.
-Lifting up to 50 lbs.
-Drivers License
