Job Title: CI/CD Engineer – Firmware Security (Contract)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CI/CD Engineer for a 6-month onsite contract based in Augsburg, Germany. The successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of a continuous integration infrastructure for a multiplatform firmware security component. This is a hands-on role ideal for professionals with strong automation experience in embedded or firmware environments.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain a Continuous Integration (CI) service for a multiplatform firmware security system
-Automate build, test, release, and deployment pipelines
-Extend and optimize existing build systems for automated build, test, and documentation processes
-Integrate Artifactory for streamlined release management
-Reduce integration effort and shorten release cycles
-Implement a build tool installer mechanism and automate license handling
-Design and maintain a CI Infrastructure Health Check
-Monitor and ensure the stability of CI environments
-Debug and resolve CI-related issues quickly and efficiently
-Collaborate with internal IT teams to solve infrastructure challenges
-Raise and manage Jira tickets for system support and improvements
-Automate performance measurement and generate technical reportsRequired Skills & Experience:
-Proven experience with CI/CD infrastructure in embedded or firmware-based environments
-Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, Shell)
-Familiarity with build tools, version control, release management, and Artifactory
-Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, Jira, and related DevOps platforms
-Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams is a plusContract Details:
