Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected planning and development consultancy in their search for a Graduate Town Planner to join their Cheltenham office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious graduate to kick-start their planning career with a supportive and growing consultancy. Working alongside experienced planners, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of projects and clients while developing your professional skills towards RTPI chartership.
The Role
Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

Undertaking planning research and site appraisals
*
Supporting the preparation of reports and planning statements
*
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
*
Contributing to a wide variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
About You
A degree (or master's) in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited)
*
Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn within a professional environment
*
A genuine interest in progressing your career in planning
