Role description
Applications are invited from both internal and external candidates for the position of Cold End Engineering Assistant Team Leader role at Irvine plant, reporting directly to the Cold End Engineering Team leader.

Responsibilities:

-Prepare and oversee the progress of job changes that take place in the cold end, responding to any mechanical problems that occur to minimise downtime.
-Prioritise work and delegate tasks to members of the cold end engineering department in order that necessary tasks are carried out.
-Determine what planned maintenance work requires to be carried out when there is a job change to minimise the chance of the occurrence of engineering problems.
-Maintain clear communications with plant management and other departments to optimise production efficiency.
-Identify opportunities and make recommendations to develop procedures to bring about continuous improvement.
-Provide guidance and continue to strive to help Business achieve KPIs
Required skills / qualifications:

-Qualified, time served engineer.
-Ideally have worked in a process environment
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-A good understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Tools and Continuous improvement.
-Awareness of relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations
-Good people management skills

based on Grade 6 of the harmonised pay scales. Min 37,360.00 - Max 42,381.00
