Job Summary:
Responsible for the Local Transportation operation, including deliveries to customers and replenishment (excluding Plant to DC’s) management at a specific country, hub, group of countries/hubs or business unit in the Regional Business Services Center. Lead and develop Transportation Planners group to assure process execution within CP Best Practice standards (“Essentials”) and collaborate with O2I, SNP, Local Logistics, and Global Logistics on effectively supporting customers and replenishment orders.
Responsible for Domestic Transportation operation for assigned Country/Hub’s/Region: manages, and performs when necessary, all aspects of the Logistics cycle while cultivating effective relationships with both suppliers and CP colleagues. Accountable for successful Local Transportation management and monitoring all aspects of the customer service process to assure on time deliveries to Internal and External Customers.
Lead the team who is responsible to manage Local Transportation Operation by serving as the primary contact point for communications related to orders and deliveries. The primary accountabilities of the role include building and maintaining logistics relations while managing the domestic transportatio operation including the troubleshooting of difficult deliveries, carriers & freight management, and resolution of exceptions and claims within CBS R&R.
Is accountable for managing the people, processes, and technology related activities required to operate, manage, expand and deliver in-scope Local Transportation assigned to for specific country, hub, group of countries/hubs or business unit assigned. Directs CBS Domestic Transportation team and ensures operations & employee management activities within the CS&L CBS center organization conform to Corporate and local HR policies and procedures, legal / regulatory authorities, and all internal control & SOX compliance. Provides and/or enables the education and coaching of direct reports.
Main Responsibilities:

-Oversees Local Transportation Operation to specific country, hub, group of countries/hubs or business unit assigned.
-Ensure the highest level of Customer Service is provided to our Customers through the development and maintenance of Order Fulfillment and Transportation Best Practices.
-Evaluates performance and productivity in accordance with SLA/KPI service levels for Customer Service team and works with the entire Supply Chain and Sales organizations to maximize results.
-Responsible for developing and maintaining adherence to standard and best practices across Transportation team supporting multiple Colgate Divisions/subsidiaries or Business Units.
-Interface with customer logistics team as well as Colgate Sales, Finance, nd Distribution/ Logistics functions to enforce Sales Policies, resolve issues, and align service and financial strategies.
-Oversees execution of service failure recovery. Is a key point of contact for customer service related issues and escalations expansion of specific country, hub, group of countries/hubs or business unit assigned.
-Reviews and signs off on knowledge transfer, training completion, critical deliverables, and cutover readiness of Domestic Transpotation team.
-Accountable for the implementation of Process Improvements strategies, standards, and delivery goals for Domestic Transpotation team for specific country, hub, group of countries/hubs or business unit assigned.
-Responsible to assure Transportation Process Execution (Resources planning, Pick Up appointment accomplishment, Customer Delivery on time according to appointment, Replenishment excluding Plant to DC), including controls and policies compliance.
-Responsible to take decision for critical issue resolution related to Transportation units with delivery without Customer service resolution among Commercial teams and Customers.
-Follow up with carrier for missing POD according to Order Fulfillment information provided.
-Assure that carriers are delivering physical refusals & sinister at DC according to Refusal Schedule defined ( in a monthly basis)
-Validate & approve Suppliers Payment Request (bitacora) for Subsidiary approval.
-Identify and escalate system issues.
-Provide Daily Transportation status according to Daily WH Scheduled
-Communicate Transportation Security Guideline to carriers
-Assure Transportation Regulatory Compliance
-Routing Guide Management
-Provide metrics and insights to evaluate carriers during Bidding Processes.
-Assure proper system master data maintenance based on Logistics CP Mexico guidelines and decisions.
-Track carrier performance and escalate performance issues to adjust Routing Guide assignment.
-Maintenance Transportation Master Data (routes, zones and lead times)
-Contribute in FTG projects identification and ensure project implementation & execution.
-Handle PM&D Transportation Team
-Responsible to propose and develop new Transportation Strategy for Continues Improvement Process.
-Responsible to support Subsidiary cost and service.
-Responsible to track Customer Deliveries SOX Transit times
-Lead the Analytics figures to each Subsidiary & Hub to support the Local Team.
-Review with Analytics Analyst Excellence Deck to ensure it is completed and validated.
Qualifications & Education:

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
-More than 5 years of experience in Logistics, Freight Management, and Transportation Management.
-People Management Experience
Technical Skills:
-Regulatory and national distribution, Ocean, rail and land transportation.
