About IOT Government Management Information Systems (GMIS):

GMIS provides technical and application support to more than 180 state operating agencies with 130 distinct financial business units.  GMIS supports Enterprise applications including Oracle Hyperion and PeopleSoft HCM modules, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Absence Management, and Portal.

Role Overview:

The Timekeeping Functional Senior supports a complex timekeeping ERP Management system.  You will be the senior support for the UKG Pro Time and Attendance system and PeopleSoft HRM Time and Labor module that serve over 35,000 state employees. 
As a valued member of the HCM Functional Team, you will deliver prompt responses, conduct thorough analyses, and provide timely resolutions for application-related issues. Your exceptional communication skills and expertise in Human Resources Information System (HRIS) analysis, integrations, and system performance will be pivotal to your success in this role.

This position requiress:

-A thorough knowledge of UKG Pro Time and Attendance and an understanding of general time and labor and payroll guidelines and business processes.
-A high motivation, detail orientation, and cusomer-focussed professionalism.
-Readiness to join a best-in-class customer service team.
-Occassional weekend and/or on-call after-hours support.
 

Salary:

This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $70,122 but may be commensurate with education and job experience.

A Day in the Life:

Responsibilities include:

-Serve as module lead for UKG timekeeping system utilized by multiple state agencies.
-Provide expertise to setup pay rules, accruals, profiles, and PTO policies in UKG and PeopleSoft Time & Labor.
-Conduct business process re-engineering to identify opportunities for improvement and work with assigned individual to implement and test improvements.
-Test customized application changes and coordinate State Agency testing acceptance for all configuration changes, upgrades and customizations.
-Modify configuration with employee profiles, business structure, data views and cross-reference tables within the UKG software solution.
-Test functional items when completing upgrades and new implementations
-Document test scripts and results thoroughly and detect defects and resolve them.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirement to be considered for employment: 

-Experience in UKG Workforce Management required -Expert ability to set up new pay rules, accruals, profiles & PTO policies.
-Ability to build hyperfinds, data views & reports to support business needs.
-Thorough understanding of essential business functions in order to translate business requirements into system configurations.
-Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
-Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, ideally including experience working with diverse global and cross-functional teams.
-Good working knowledge of core HR/Payroll processes.
-Ability to develop functional requirements for requested enhancements and system or process changes
-Creating test plans and writing/executing scripts related to user-requested system enhancements and projects, ensuring coordination with varied stakeholders
-Conduct business process re-engineering to identify opportunities for improvement, and make appropriate recommendations
-Support customer management to establish processes and define & track SLA’s
-Identify information and technology management issues and opportunities, analyze complex problems and alternatives, and develop sound conclusions and recommendations.
-Plan, organize, integrate, and manage a broad range of complex data and systems management, upgrade, administration, and maintenance activities.
-Establish and maintain project and production schedules and balance responsibilities for multiple activities to ensure timely, high-quality results.
-Effectively communicate both orally and in writing. 
-Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may serve as a team lead for an assigned work group.
