Specialist SEN Teacher - Primary/Secondary Focus

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with a commitment to making a real difference in young lives? We are seeking an exceptional educator to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Reading.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

About the Role:

You'll be instrumental in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive. You will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with SEMH and ASC.
*

Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and robust behaviour management strategies.
*

Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals, to provide holistic support.
*

Fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting a strong home-school partnership.
*

Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
