Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic leader to join our team at the San Luis plant. If you are passionate about process optimization and leading teams toward operational excellence, this is your opportunity. You will be responsible for end-to-end planning, inventory control, and logistics coordination, ensuring the efficient and safe flow of materials and products. Your role will be critical to driving continuous improvement and ensuring rigorous compliance with Safety (EHS), Quality, Environmental, and FP&R standards.
 
 

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:

-Lead, motivate, and develop the planning team to achieve customer service objectives.
-Supervise and coordinate the tasks of your direct reports, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Production Planning and Control:

-Oversee production planning and inventory control, striving for excellence in customer service.
-Manage and optimize inventory levels, including obsolete products (SLOB) and new product launches.
-Analyze plant capacity (Production vs. Requirements), preparing reports to support decision-making.
-Ensure effective planning using systems such as SAP, including data management and review.
-Participate in key supply chain meetings (Daily Meetings, meetings with Sales, Demand Planning, SNP, and NetOps).
Logistics Management and Projects:

-Coordinate the movement of materials (productive and non-productive) and finished goods to and from the plant.
-Supervise physical inventory counts (cycle and full), consolidating information for reporting.
-Lead continuous improvement projects within the planning area.
-Calculate and report key global KPIs for the area.
Compliance and Quality:

-Ensure strict compliance with EHS, Quality, and FP&R standards.
-Participate in audits and interdepartmental activities to foster a culture of safety and quality.
 
 

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, logistics, or supply planning.
-Intermediate/advanced level of English.
-Proficient in Google Workspace.
-Intermediate/advanced knowledge of SAP and APO.
-Experience with EHS, Quality, and FP&R standards.
 
 

Desired Qualifications:

-Previous experience supervising personnel.
-Expertise in inventory management.
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and solve complex synchronization challenges in material flow and production planning.
