A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buyer to join a fantastic engineering business in the Lymington area.
With no day ever being the same the Buyer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class manufacturing environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Undertaking purchasing activities and dealing with supplier.
* Maintaining the timely flow of materials to meet requirements of the organisations production schedules
* Raising purchase orders using an ERP system
* Maintaining procurement data on ERP through regular lead time updates
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Experience as a Buyer or similar position
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience working with an ERP systems
