The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across a range of specialisms, including Resistant Materials, Textiles, and Graphics. You will be responsible for fostering a safe and creative workshop environment where students can develop practical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Main Duties of a DT Teacher:
* Plan and deliver exciting, hands-on DT lessons that adhere to the curriculum.
* Manage workshop safety and ensure all students are following correct procedures.
* Guide students through design processes, from initial concept to final product.
* Assess and provide feedback on both practical and theoretical work.
* Maintain equipment and resources to ensure the workshop runs smoothly.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
* Essential Documents: You must have the Right to Work (ETW) in the UK and a valid DBS on the Update Service, or be willing for one (we can assist with this).
* Experience: Prior experience teaching Design and Technology is essential.
