The Retail Communications team is at the forefront of developing dynamic and impactful communications that drive seamless initiative implementation, and smooth day-to-day business operations impacting over 600 Sephora stores and retail leadership. We create and execute communication strategies that are streamlined, precise, and impactful – delivering the right information at the right time to empower teams and elevate the client experience. Your role at Sephora:
As a Retail Communications Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering impactful communications. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to gather insights, provide expert advice, and craft strategic communication plans that ensure the successful adoption and execution of key initiatives. Your efforts will be instrumental in shaping the future of our retail operations and enhancing overall business performance.

-Create and execute a comprehensive and compelling communication strategy for stores and retail leadership, addressing all facets of the business to drive clarity and alignment
-Ensure all content is relevant, accurate, and designed to support exceptional execution
-Ensure related documentation/policies that support communication is accurate, streamlined and meets all communication standards.
-Champion best-in-class storytelling to create content that fully engages and informs audiences
-Provide expert guidance on messaging, timing, methods, and communication vehicle for maximum impact
-Adhere to store communication standards and templates, and provide expertise on content formatting to ensure messaging is clear, concise and consistently reflects a store-centered voice
-Serve as a gatekeeper by rigorously evaluating communication requests from all departments, ensuring requests are necessary and align with global priorities
-Own the content management for the communications and learning management platforms, ensuring seamless information dissemination

-Collaborate and consult cross-functionally across the entire organization to develop strategic communication plans that support all levels of the retail organization, from senior retail leadership to store associates

-Travel to Sephora stores as needed to monitor project progress and traction, gather invaluable feedback and insights, and develop new or improved procedures
-Support and own special projects, leveraging your expertise to ensure their successful execution and alignment with overall business goals
We’re excited about you if you have:

-2–4+ years of experience in retail communications or communications in a professional environment
-Retail experience
-A degree in Communications or Business
-Exceptional written communication skills, with strong grammar and spelling
-Excellent verbal and presentation skills
-Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word templates, styles, and formatting
-Experience with Retail Zipline (a plus)
-A collaborative mindset with strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
-Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and stay composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Independent thinking and sound judgment, with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and openness to feedback for continuous improvement
The annual base salary range for this position is $83,000.00 - $109,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
