The technology company, is looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the hardware design team to create the enclosures and mechanical components of new products.
Responsibilities will include
Working with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure any design is fit for purpose.
Liaison with the production team to ensure that any design is suitable for volume manufacturing.
Managing key suppliers to deliver on time and to an agreed quality.
Main skills
Educated to at least degree standard in a relevant engineering based degree.
Proficient in the use of CAD tools, ideally SolidWorks.
A working good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
An interest in the automotive industry or motorsport would be an advantage.
As our products are either machined, extruded or injection moulded experience of the design constraints of each of these techniques would be beneficial.
