Many of our Quick Lane Technicians transition into line technician roles through the Ted Britt Apprenticeship Program. With over 10 Ford Senior Master Technicians on staff, you'll have the opportunity to learn directly from some of the best in the industry in an air-conditioned shop, all while earning top pay.

We place a strong emphasis on training and development. As a Quick Lane Technician, you will be sent to factory Ford training on a regular basis and encouraged to continuously expand your skills. This role is designed to be transitional, preparing you for long-term growth and advancement within our service department.

Quick Lane Technicians are responsible for providing fast, efficient, and high-quality maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and multi-point inspections. Accuracy, speed, and professionalism are essential in delivering the excellent customer service Ted Britt is known for.

Job Responsibilities:

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery service, wiper blade replacement, and other routine maintenance services.

Inspections: Complete multi-point inspections and report findings accurately to service advisors.

Safety & Quality: Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards for safety and quality.

Efficiency: Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

Documentation: Accurately document services performed and parts used in the dealership's system.

Customer Care: Support service advisors with clear communication about inspection results and recommended maintenance.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, advisors, and parts staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Process Adherence: Follow company and manufacturer procedures for maintenance and repair.

Continuous Training: Participate in Ford factory training and in-house mentorship to develop skills toward becoming a mainline technician.

Job Requirements:

Previous technician or automotive maintenance experience preferred, but training available for motivated candidates.

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine maintenance services.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Professional, safety-focused attitude required.

Must be punctual, dependable, and eager to learn.

Open to part-time applicants, including college students pursuing automotive careers.
