Job Description
-Conduct independent needs assessments and ensure continuous material flow using SAP
-Ensure timely procurement and order processing of raw materials, goods, and other supplies
-Contribute to the planning, management, control, and optimization of purchasing processes
-Assist the Quality Assurance team in managing and resolving complaints linked with purchased goods
-Support central accounting and internal departments to facilitate on-time payments in line with company policies
-Source and evaluate prices for externally manufactured semi-finished products, merchandise, and services, including supplier selection
-Negotiate supply contracts to secure favorable terms
-Maintain and update master data, including the onboarding of new suppliers
-Collaborate effectively with all departments—including international procurement—while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, standards, and internal guidelines
Qualifications
-Completed apprenticeship; further qualification as a Purchasing and Logistics Specialist (IHK) is a plus
-Fluent in German and English
-Strong user skills in SAP and MS Office 365
-Demonstrates confidence, initiative, accountability, and strong communication and teamwork skills
-High awareness of quality and cost, with a proactive and professional approach
