Role - Site Manager
Location - East Sussex
Salary - GBP55k - GBP65k
My client is a growing generalist building contractor they are looking for a Site manager for a client in East Sussex, ideally you'll have experience working on projects valued GBP20k up to GBP5m for Refurb and newbuild projects.
Job Responsibilities:
* Ensure all works are undertaken with consideration to the needs of the local population
* Manage, supervise and mentor the site team
* Cover various projects and drive the team forwards
* Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
* Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
* Ensure that the project is properly planned, programmed and resourced to achieve safe, profitable and timely delivery
* Prepare monthly progress project reports, and ensure that method statements, risk assessments and approval documents are in place for all site activities
* Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all the contractual requirements
* Manage materials and supply, including where necesarry obtaining this yourself
* Estimating and pricing projects and variations
Key Attributes:
* Having a strong background of working within the build industry (General Builder, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Assistant Site Manager)
* CSCS site manager qualified
* First Aid
* SMSTS or SSSTS Ideally
* Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
* Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
* Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
